Convergent is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules. Most polls listed here were conducted online and weighted to be representative of all adults in Britain according to age, gender, education, vote in 2019, vote in 2024, political attention and seat profile, with weighting targets calculated on the basis of the British Election Study face-to-face 2019 and 2024 studies, census data and ONS mid-year population estimates. Constituency polls may additionally use in-person fieldwork and a multilevel regression and poststratification (MRP) model. Full details for each poll, including fieldwork mode and sample, are set out in its data tables.
For our national voting-intention polls, on the basis of the historical record of the polls at recent general elections, there is a 9 in 10 chance that the true value of a party's support lies within 4 points of the estimates provided, and a 2 in 3 chance that they lie within 2 points.
